Conference Venue - Nara Kasugano International Forum

Nara is an ancient capital city in Nara Prefecture, Japan. Its 1,300 years of cultural history as Japan's first permanent capital attracts more than a million visitors every year. Besides being home to many important scenic and historical sites, Nara is located less than one hour from Kyoto and Osaka.

The SICE Annual Conference 2018 (SICE 2018) will be held at Nara Kasugano International Forum. The conference site is near several historic treasures, including Todai-ji temple and Kasuga-taisha shrine.

Getting Nara is easy with frequent and convenient shuttle service from the following two major airports in Kansai region; Kansai International Airport (KIX) and Osaka International Airport (ITM). To know how to get to Nara from other places, visit

The closest and most convenient station to the conference venue is the Kintetsu Nara Station. From the station, you can either walk to or take a bus to the conference venue.
